I'm looking to install a Holley carb with vac secondary, duel fuel inlets and choke on a 396 with auto trans. What carb should I use ? Street car but I do like to stand on the gas alot .

THANKS RAYZZ MY CAMARO LIKES MY MONEY

That's a no brainer!.....The Holley, #3310 which is 750 cfm, would be ideal for your 396!.....There's an electric choke version of this carb but I don't have the number or the catalog in front of me to look it up.

My dad is fixing up a 57 Sedan Delivery with a 396 in it, 292 Comp cam, and he bought a New 750 with vac secondary List 3310 on it and it came alive! Trans in a 400 with brake in it. He like its a lot.
Good luck with it.

Besides the choke, your cam choice will determine jetting. You're gonna have so much fun. And for accurate info from the guys here, we would need your engine spec's. You know, CR, cam, etc.

Engine is BB396 bored 30 over, airgap intake, Canton 1" carb spacer, Edlebrock aluminum heads, Crane 1.7 roller rockers, headers, MSD distributor, MSD 6AL, Comp cam 274/286 adv. duration .552/.555 lift cam TH350 trans and 2400 TCI stall converter. I would like to have electric choke and original finish in 3310.

The #3310C is the original, classic finish and runs $272.99 @ Jegs....NOTE: This is a manual choke carb but can be converted to electric choke with kit #45-223 which runs $51.99 @ Jegs....You can't get this carb with a factory electric choke unless you get the #805085 which has the bright zinc finish....Remember, you'll need a dual feed gas line which runs $19.99 @ Jegs.

Your engine specs appear to be rather mild so this carb should run good right out of the box!

That cam should like about 11:1 CR or better. What do you figure yours is? And nice setup!
