Pro St is a big tire, tubbed rear, bottom line. Some people have a big motor and call it a Pro St, no way with out the tubs and tires. I'm tired of seeing people call their car a Pro St with out the meats. Also, in this thread, people are talking about Pro Touring cars. Another waste of ruining a muscle car. "Muscle car" means just that, muscle. Most Pro Touring are just looks anyway. Goofy tires, goofy rims. What a way to waste a muscle car. Pro Touring takes the muscle out of classic cars. I hope its only a short lived trend. Stop wasting muscle cars!

And I'm gettin fixed to build another with my son who is 14 and he is keyed up about it..

OK i love Pro-Street all the way, but i don't have one... So when i get tiered of the small tire look and lack of traction then i will start cutting this thing up, heck by that time i will already have my drive train setup and ready for some fat a$$ tires...

Oh and Dave your car look awesome .

Your car is to nice to cut Skip dont you dare.....

Oh thanks Dave, then you Pro-Street guys are gonna have to bend the rules just a little. Cant we just call our cars the want to bees Pro-Street with lots of potential :beers:.
Big cubes with small tires with big attitude .
Why not call them what they are Street Cars or Street/Strip cars? You do have a very nice car, just mini tub it and be done with it. There is a guy in the 6's on drag radials these days. 7's are common for drag radials now. I love big tire cars too and if that's the look you want then go for it, you just don't "need" that much rubber on the ground to hook up.

Nice car Dave!! Oh and yes that is Pro Street no doubt.

It's a lot of fun. Can't wait to finish the Buick so I can enjoy it some more. should be out and about this Spring.

As a former pro-street owner, I'm always going like big tire cars -- I hope the pro-street style stays with us for a long time and stays separate from the "pro-touring" look
I would like to see more late model Pro Street like the current Monte Carlo or a Cobalt.
