There were many tough looking hoods in the 60's and 70's, my favorite was the 67 Firebird 400 with those perfect scoops  I probably missed a few good ones and I'm sure I will hear about it so just write them in or post a pic.
I have included some pics to jog your memory. ( you can pick more than one )

Well Jerry...

I liked the Cuda hood scoop however the reversed tear drop scoop (point to the front ) was all I used on my cars. 57 chevy, 55 chevy, 66 chevelle malibu ss ....they all looked great with that hood! :) well scoop molded in.

Kev I was thinking about that same hood, that was a serious muscle car hood scoop for sure.

RAD beat me to the Air Grabber, but it's still one of my favorites. Love the teeth!

The 2nd gen Firebird Formula hood is another favorite; this should be the T/A hood IMO.

Boy it's tough to pick just 1 - I also highly admire the early C-3 Corvette hoods too (even though many of the snooty corvette owners refuse to believe that the Corvette should be classifed into the muscle car category). Of course you can't leave out the 69-70 Mustang Shaker hoods either. I also think the hoods on the 71-73 Mustang fastbacks are awesome (not a big fan of the back end of the car though - gets too large in rear). These are also very deserving of some consdideration. Then again some of the hoods on the Shelby Mustangs were also bold and beautiful (sorry if I offend the "Ford-haters" but just keepin it real). I'd also have to add the 68-72 Chevelle SS hoods - mmm, mmm!

Looking over the Hood of my 71 Challenger RS 340 Mag was the nicest driving view of any vehicle I've driven. The hood of my 70Z with the 2" LT1 scoop isn't that bad either; but man, the front end of that car is long and so are the doors - the Car is wider then it is long when both doors are open you have to pick your parking because of the long doors.

I'm very accustom to the hood of a 140 and 240 Volvo though ;o)
