Well, I went to a garage sale last weekend and I bought a box of Classic Car Parts for $5.00! Some of them have GM, AC Delco markings and one has Chevrolet on it. I figured out what some of them were, but many I still don't know. I need to know what car(s) they went to, what years, what they are worth, and in some cases, what the parts are. Please help me the best you can. I'm sorry for the crappy pictures. Thank You!

I was told that this is a wiper fluid pump? I hooked it up to my brother's 12V Power Wheels battery and I guess it works. It makes a clicking noise, don't know if that is good or not. It only makes the noise once when you turn it on and then again when you turn it off.

I'm told this goes to an '81 Grand Prix, but may also work on a '75-'84? It has 81 GP written on the bottom. I think it is the air conditioner, I hooked it up to my brother's 12V Power Wheels battery and this thing works very good.

I'm pretty sure that this maybe a window crank. But to what?

This has a tag with "66 Chev" on it. But I can't find any 1966 Chevys with this on it. It is the horn button/steering wheel center peice I know that much. It is in mint shape and was a steal!

Some kind of clip?

What's inside of a very old "carburator kit" I don't know if it has all of the parts to it or not. It didn't come with a contents list.

It looks like most of that came of of a full size Chevy from the mid to late 70's. The square thing that starts the last post is a headlight retainer for a car with 4 rectangular headlights like 81 GP or 77 Malibu or full size Impala. I'd guess you can buy a new one in the Help aisle at the local parts store for $10. The horn button and washer pump and that rear seat ash tray all seem consistent with a full size of mid to late 70's but GM used many parts across the board and for many years.

The big part with the gray finned fan wheel on it (squirrel cage) is a blower motor for the heater/defroster, etc. Goes on the fire wall. I'm guessing that it came off that Gran Prix that the other stuff came from.

The knobs looks like that cam off a directional switch arm and that window crank looks to be from a rear window ... pretty much almost any mid 60's to at least mid 70's GM car.

About $3 worth of crud
man i just wasted 10 seconds of my life looking at your trash. throw that stuff in the dumpster!
John, Jason I asked for some help AND NOT SOME SMARTA** REMARKS! Just because I have the curse of being part of the "Rice Grinder" generation and you don't (or for some other reason you think you're better than I am) Doesn't make you God. If you have nothing helpful or even in the slightest bit polite to say, keep your traps shut!

yellow69RS, no69x-44, and 67CAMAROSS, thank you so much for your help and your time. I have figured out a pretty good amount of info. This is what I've found out:

- The windsheild wiper pump is for 1973-1976 Chevy Impalas. I don't know if it was used on other GM cars or not. As of now, there are no other matches.

- The air conditioner was used by GM on a wide array of cars from 1966-1987. It was used on 1978-1983 Grand Prixs. As for the other cars, compiling a list may take a bit of time. The older the car, the more rare factory A/C gets. What makes this and the pump so unique is that I think they are original factory parts that are still in great working order.

- After some research, I found out that the knobs I'm pretty sure are 1968-1972 Chevy Impala colomn shift lever knobs. But I'll do some more work to confirm this. These might also work on other cars, but research will be needed to find out.

- I found a close but not exact match to the switch thing. It can possibly be a 1969-1983 AC Delco ignition switch. I don't know if its with or without tilt. Having a very close match to an AC Delco part would explain the VERY old AC Delco box that was found, however, the switch was not in the box. It has some codes and numbers on it, I'll see if I can track them down. It's very possible that the switch just happened to fall of the box.

- The coolant cap goes to a Classic Corvette. Sadly, I found a small crack and most likely it can't be fixed:(.

- The window crank is for 1967-1976 Chevy Impalas, 1968-1972 Chevy Chevelles and El Caminos, and 1967-1972 Chevy Camaros. This will also fit many other GM cars, such as the Pontiac GTO. The knob might have been clear at some point?

- The steering wheel center peice (shroud/horn cap) can be used for Chevy Novas from 1968-1972 and 1970-1973 Chevy Camaros but will have to be reupholstered. This one can be used as-is on '71-'72 Chevelles, and on '71-'72 Monte Carlos (trim badge will have to be changed). There probably other Chevys and GMs that this will work for.

So pretty much what yellow69RS and no69x-44 said. These will fit almost any GM car from the mid 60s to the early 80s. Many will fit muscle cars.
