So you think you can dance starts tonight.You may call me gay also but talent is talent.I will watch these shows before Survivor....Im proud to say i watch it with my wife. Ok, maybe proud is a bit of an overstatement.Actually, maybe more like im ashamed to say my wife sucked me into it...truth be told.
Being I am the OP on this subject I pay attention to the show but if I had something else to do I dont plan my life around it, My wife and I sit on the couch together , me with the laptop on surfing the net and listening to the tv but not really watching it but Adam just had a voice that had me look up and watch. Oh and btw I do support local clubs with live bands and I also try to play the banjo !!!

there is no one that's more anti-pop culture than me (I'm the one that started the "words and phrases I can't stand" thread". And, I have spent much time slamming these kind of shows. However, I have a 12 year old daughter who loves the show. So, what I do is tape it. That way we can play it back without having to sit through all the vulgar commercials. Its "quality time" for lack of a better word... plus, they had Queen, Kiss, Rod Stewart and Steve Martin. I enjoyed it as much as my daughter!

I'll take some Gruntruck, Mud Honey, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Beat Farmers, Nine inch Nails and Sound Garden........now if it were called American Grunge Band or Seattle Sound I would be watching.

That goes for all of it, Survivor opened the door for all this reality crap, now what was "The learning channel" is total crap, it should be called the fertilty drug and angry midget channel....
Well thats my .02 at least, of course you guys are welcome to watch whatever you want....... I just wouldn't bring it up at a car show or dragstrip is all.....

I think we could spend load of time talking music and watchhing drag racing or being part of it. Hey man work is only 8 HRs a day. Yeah good point. I guess that means no one alive has any right "spouting off" about stuff like the revolutionary war, the trails of Lewis and Clark, the discovery of America or any of the events of the early explorers, and other historical events, because how could they know anything if they were not there?

Did you go to school and learn about Lewis and Clark , Revolutionary War, discovery of America or did you skip school and claim to be a expert of those subjects also ? Do you have any idea of where the American Idol contestants come from ? Think any were from bar-club bands that you support ?
