Any of you regular Hot Rod Magazine readers remember an article 1-2 years ago about a secret muscle car junkyard they had access to near thier publishing offices in Orange County CA?
They would not disclose the location, but had pictures.
Perusing through the local Craigslist ads, I think I have found that junkyard and everything looks to be for sale. :beers:

Here is the ad for a 1969 convertible, Lemans Blue with white top and interior. Looks a bit rusty, they are asking $11.5K

This is what the yard looks like:

I saw that craigslist add a few days ago, that 69 vert is wasted and a 6 cylider car.... Blah.... You might as well get a dynacorn shell then buying that car.... all the others
Camaros looked the same... I thought they were way over priced....

Did business years ago with a boat place in GG ( on West St. off Westminster Ave.) and there used to be a guy that had a bunch of older stuff - wonder if it's the same stuff someone is selling off ???

For future search:
VIN 123679N669726

69 12467 NOR 107191 (edit)
727 71 A
08A

Wonder if it will come back to life as an L-6 'plain-jane' l:)

(edit) closer examination of tag - looks like body number 107192 vs. 107291 ...

Doesn't look like much of a yard as a dirt parking lot behind an industrial building.

alan

That's exactly what I recall it was - behind a Glass service company or ??? type of business ...

"Junkyard" is my description. You're right, it sure doesn't look like a California licensed dismantler.
Maybe "stash" would be a better description.
The owner’s description is probably something more like "private collection of rare and valuable cars"!

Anyone remember the Hot Rod Article?

that is "Carlos" Ednia (sp?) He is from Jordan

He roots everywhere and is into high end cars too

I bought a 70 SS Chevelle from him several years ago and a 71 RS Camaro:

everything he has is overdescribed and priced at the very tip of high retail

He just returned from Jordan a little while ago.

I heard he was selling everything off, appears so

The property he has is commercial so i guess that allows you to store whatever junk you want.

Rumor has it that he is going to build apartments on the long narrow strip of property so he can become a slum lord ...
