Whats the minimum the slip yoke should be in the tranny ?

I think the way the question/answer is phrased is what's the correct amount of clearance from the rear of the transmission when at rest? You know, just sitting and in neutral. I think it's something like an inch and a half OUT maximum. These guys know;
