I had what I think people here told me was a 67 speedo in my 68.
I picked up a used 68 cluster with the right speedo and installed it a bit ago. The speedo was a bit jumpy at first...probably from lack of use (at least that's what I hope).
Now it's settled down, but it reads a bit fast. Not sure how fast, but I don't think it should read 50 when I'm doing around 2200 rpms in 4th gear (3.31 ratio rear gears).
Does the 68 speedo need a different tranny gear than a 67?
