Just looking for opinions on my 69. I am replacing the 14x6's and am looking for ideas. I can go 15x7 all the way around with the same tires or 15x7's with slightly wider tires in the rear or 15x7 up front and 15x8 in the rear. I want to stay pretty traditional, so n0 17's, etc... What combinations have worked for you guys. Another opinion, please - ralley wheels, Cragar SS's or...? Thanks for the ideas.

It's personal preference. I went 15x7 Torq Thrust D's on my 68 with 225's up front and 245's in the rear. While I could have gone wider in the rear I really like the more classic 60's look. Pictures at link below in my signature.

Greetings from Arizona
My 69 has 7's on the rear with 215/65r15's and custom made 6's on front with 205/60r15's..had to have made due to 2 inch dropped spindles with
CPP brake kit, the 7's hit steering arm. car sits to low but unless I go to 70's , I will have to leave it alone. already have big block springs on car. its about 22 inche to the top of the front wheels wells. also have 4-7's on 67 Elcamino and 68 Malibu 2 dr

RJ,

I'm thinking of moving up to 15's on my '67 too. I have the same set up you do w/the Hotchkis package.

What are you running of back spacing and do you have any rubbing?

Thanks,

Oakster
