Turlock swap meet 2010

The Modesto Area A’s began the Swap Meet in 1965, located in the McHenry Shopping Center in Modesto. The event quickly outgrew the space available and in 1966 moved to the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds in Turlock, and became known nationally as the TURLOCK SWAP MEET. It has become one of the premier events in the hobby of restoring and collecting antique and classic automobiles.
The TURLOCK SWAP MEET always takes place during the last full weekend in January. In 2010, the Swap Meet will take place January 30/31, 2010. The hours of operation are Saturday, 7 AM to 5 PM and Sunday, 7 AM to 3 PM. Admission is $5.00 at the gate, children 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult.

Weather is going to be possible rain on sat. but clear on sunday.

I am shooting for sat to be there. Bringing a few people as well. Hope to see you there.

The Grand National Roadster show is on at the same time, and we've committed to go do some coverage of the event, which means for the second year in a row I am missing Turlock. I hate that.

If anyone would like their name on BangShift.com with credit for shooting photos, I'd take some of Turlock. I don't have the freelance budget to spend on this event, but I would love coverage.

If interested, email me at chad@bangshift.com

Gary,

I am going to Sat. i found a ton of stuff, talk about gifts from above. I will post pictures when i get a chance.

its 4:30pm taking a break might go on sunday as well, maybe depends on how my dogs feel lol

DjD, I will see you there. Dreamweaver (easy now) will be there with another Camaro guy, Dennis Aros (I forget his screen name). He is trying to round up FarmBoy and Vintage68 as well. I have your cell number so I will call you. I plan to be there about 7:00.

Bwcamaro68, PM me or I will PM you with my cell number. We can hook up and meet a few TC guys.

Nice meeting up with everyone yesterday, Dennis I don't remember your member name but it was nice to meet you and thanks for providing my wife with a beer, and a place to sit. It bought me at least a half hour bench racing with everyone!

Dreamweaver that Chevelle might have been the deal of the day but for something a bit different that 1950 Indy pace car Mercury might have been a close second. Even if it was a tribute from what I found, prices are starting around the $60k and up for a restored one. Imagine if it was the real one?

Bri you've been on the site as long as I have, nice to meet you finally and Gary it's always great to spend time hanging out with you...

Anyone going to Goodguys in March?

Brian, you bought some rally wheels? I have a set of 5 - 15x7s I need to get rid of.
You also kept the momentum up. I have yet to meet a bad member of TC.

Dennis, I am up for March Goodguys. Glad to see you and Sharon are in good spirits.

Now dreamweaver just has to keep dodging the phone calls from the seller of the 70 Camaro.

now ya tell me you had a set, were they with the caps and beauty rings also?

I have a dumb question? Gary or DJD what is Dennis's user name on here? I didnt think i asked him what his was?

Did everyone get to touch the almighty heads he was selling? I know Gary you were looking at them. I wanted that z/28 intake lol...

Brian and Dennis, I think Dennis A.'s screen name was 69L89rag. I loaded one of the heads for him in his truck. Dreamweaver can always get a hold of him.

Brian, no rings and caps with mine.
