Hi Guys,

I just picked up a 1968 Camaro RS, 1 family owned car, Matching # drivetrain
327/275HP, Powerglide, 10-bolt posi, Deluxe interior, Console with gauge package, Tic Toc Tach, Factory tinted glass including original windshield.

I have POP, Dealers invoice and this car has - - for Paint Code (Mist Green?)
Original paint and about 99% complete/Original. Will get running soon.

What do you guys think it is worth?

Thanks Jesse, going to get the car running and eventually will sell and hopefully it will be restored to factory specs. Did not know if a Paint delete car was anything special.

Just think it is a really nice find.

Jeff, the (--) is not paint delete. That was paint code for special color that the buyer chose, it alerted Fisher Body to look for the paint code on the order sheet. Sometimes it was a color offered on other models. Those colors didnt have a paint code in the Camaro line so they used the (--). There are alot of the (--) around, not rare but fun to watch folks figure out what the color was that was original, since so many have had repaints over the years. Post a few pics so we can see the color it has on it now. :)

Hi Jeff! What is the build date on the tag? The car looks almost Grecian Green to me, and according to the CRG data, the Grecian Green was "retired" as of Jan 68, and cars built after that would have "- -" if Grecian Green (or other discontinued/retired color used) was ordered.

The only "green mist" I could find in the GM lineup for the 68 model year was a 68 Buick color, Tarpon Green Mist. I couldn't find a good pic of a car that color, but the color chip looks a lot more blue than your car appears.

Kind of an oddly equipped car; who gets a 10-bolt posi, the L30 327, and a tach, and then gets a Glide? I guess someone who couldn't or did not want to drive a manual. Sounds like a nice one and different (in a good way) when restored. I doubt that the special paint coding really adds much value to that particular car; I think the value is more in the group of desirable options and documentation.

Like my car was before I swapped out the 'glide, except 12 bolt 2.73 posi.
