I might be more interested in the Hugger! Actually, a plain jane may be more rare than a Z-28, RS , or SS in the near future......... The green one looks pretty rough.

He likely has 2k in both cars.

looks more like 2500 car at best!!
i agree personally a good running 20 footer in california even jarez/ el paso can be bought at around 15-20k

7k would be over kill its worth maybe 2-3k tops, everything has sky rocketed in part prices these days the damm door panels will cost yah alone 1k withe the moldings and emblems, its a complete rust bucket piece of crap that has been sitting as a junker for the longest...

never know until you actually go to the DPS office anywhere in Texas if it has ever been salvaged out, even if it hasnt texas after the car has been non running for so long will want a full inspection done and the DPS has slavaged out cars before, in texas they call it makeing it reconditioned if they feel its unsafe on the road...

obvioulsy the car has been sitting and has been parted out and scrounched on all this time

OUSTA LA PASTA TO THIS JUNKER,,

He's probably one of those guys that had a decent car sitting around and people came by to ask if he wanted to sell it. He said he was going to restore it someday and you drive by year after year and watch it disappear into the ground. Now that it's almost gone, he wants to get rid of it.

The hugger will bring 1500 or so, and the green one 4000-5000. 69 camaros bring it! And it would probably be a good car on the east coast. There is not much to choose from under 10k..............................

Just goes to show that someone hauls one out of the woods or field and just because it says Camaro or substitute your fave they think it is automatically worth big bucks. I attribute a lot of this to those GD Barett Jackson auctions.
OK OK.
I'm calm. It's all good.

"This unmolested complete Camaro".......

Mother Nature molested the **** out of that thing.

Just as a reference I paid 5K for this Plain Jane. Take your time, don't overpay. A wise man once told me that (Charlie). He was right! Thanks for the great advice.

Both you guys are right on the money for what I had to go through and pay for my 69 plain Jane 3 years ago(I live in Virginia). I watched my car set in a guys yard from 1989ish to 2007 basically untouched and uncovered. It hurt my heart to see the car set for so long. I went to high school with the guy's son and they always had dreams of restoring it but never did. I ended up working with the guys wife and I kept asking her to ask him to sell it(she wanted it out of the yard in a bad way). Finally she said that he would sell it for $4000. It was more than I wanted to pay, but after shopping around I realized it was all that I could afford. This was the beginning of the bad economy so prices were still crazy high. It was a complete car, but only in a tad bit better shape.

Hey Vince keep looking they are out there. Most cars are overpriced as people think that every old Camaro is $75,000.00 Barrett-Jackson special. The seller of my car originally was asking for best offer over 10K thinking she would get it because someone told her she could get that kind of money for a 69 Camaro. I was lucky because this seller just lost patience with having to spend so much time showing the car, and the wanted to unload it sooner than later. Since I hung in there I ended up getting the car as she figured I was the only person that was serious. Lots of people look at cars, but not everyone really has cash in pocket to take it home. That is a huge adavantage for buyers who do. Don't be afraid to lowball the seller, you never know what they might say. Good luck with the search. I hope you find something soon. If I hear of anything I will let you know.

The reason I referenced that is I had personal experience as well. I have a 1950 Buick and I was restoring it. Even at the time, 20 years ago, chroming was expensive and the front bumper and grill have a lot of it. I saw a car sitting in front of a barn like mine and asked about buying some parts off of it. The man said he and his son were going to restore it "some day". I watched it slowly sink into the ground for 20 plus years and now it's level with it.
