Then there's the following:

a non Camaro knob, like a skull on the shifter

a suicide knob on the steering wheel

those purple lights up on the windshield (50's stuff) along with a pair of dice!

brass coloured rad paint

a 70's paint decal on a '67 Camaro...but my bud got rid of it!

wrong sports steering wheels on the wrong year

an aftermarket rear view mirror (the huge one)

wrong side mirrors for the year

These I have seen...and have not said anything...except smiled and walked on.

* trailer queens.
*signs in front of the car, 3 ft tall with all the details, usually with a photo album in the seat.
* crying baby leanin against the car.
signs that say "do not touch car" really..?
*BILLET anything is ugly in my opinion..
*oyea the little model of the same car on the air cleaner..

This was touched on before, but just to add to that post.

How about curb finders on both sides of the car. Seen that a few times but not on a Camaro though.

How about the 327 block car with the 350 badges or worse the 396 badges

The all time favorite

The ones i like are the guy who walks up to your car and says.

"I had a 1966 camero z/28 with a 454 in it, looked just like this one"



#75 Kragers that had no back space and stuck out past the fender wells
#76 Turning the Distributor to make the car sound like it has a cam
#77 Crushed Velvet or anything other than the seat material it came with.
#78 Selling a "Rare" Camaro on Ebay with fake tags and restamped motor. But saying its original from factory.

A sin I disagree with.
My early prod 68z has wood grain dash, and a black ashtray. Thats the way it came from the factory. I'm not about to search for the wrong ashtray.
it is also a z28 without the deep groove smog pump pulley. it is an original pump and pulley. (should prob. just buy a deep groove to stop the insults.)

My daily driver 68 has some "sins"
a 327 with 350 emblems.
rear spoiler with a power antenna on the right rear quarter.
4 mud flaps
tinted windows
SS emblems, and hood when it is not an SS
RS gas cap with SS fender emblems
No emblem on the grille
72 corvette steering wheel
I really want a trailer hitch for it. But I don't have a trailer.

Some funny stuff here, for sure. You see some good stuff on Ebay from time to time also. I have seen rally stripes over the roof, as well as both rally and hockey stick stripes on the same car. I am saying this lightheartedly as I bought a 69 SS clone with rally stripes. I know it is not right, but it looks good. Funny thing is that probably 99% of the people who see it don't know it didn't come this way. I love this car more than life and drive it every chance I get.

Even worse when the owner of this car gives you a hard time for having a spoiler on your '67
