I purchased a '67 rs. The interior is all black with black seats/parchment trim. But, as I began taking a close llok, there is parhcment color bleeding through in portions of door panels and other areas. It llooks like a previous owner painted door covers and other vinyl areas black to match seats. Looking at trim plate the car came with parchment/black interior. But, all i can see on line is parchment panels AND parchment seats with black trim on seats, metal door parts and dash. Does anyone know is there was an option for black seats with parchment trim and parchment vinyl (door panels, seat backs, etc).

On parchment 797 cars the carpet, dash, dash pad, headliner, speaker shelf, console, kick panels , carpet on the lower door panels , seat belts, the metal on top of the doors that runs back to the speaker shelf & the top of the door jamb wind lace is black. The only white parts are the seats, door panels, window cranks, rear panels, arm rest, filler panels and lower door jamb windlace

green z - thanks. the seats are black with white rs stripe. Everything that is supposed to be parchment is painted black..with parchment showing through, looks horrible. At some point one of the previous owners must ahve switched out the parchment seats for black with stripe and then took to painting...at this point I think I will either improve the painting or get replacemet door panels, etc, in black. The seats are in great shape.

thanks

The white stripe in the seats is not related to a rs coded car. Thats the way all deluxe seats came rs or not.
