I need advice on which SBC Edelbrock heads would work best for my 1969
350 Camaro motor. I am having the motor rebuilt with a 300hp cam and
domed pistons.
This will make the motor slightly better than stock not too
radical. I am considering adding Edelbrock aluminum heads to add more punch. Which model heads would be good for my setup, Car is a 4 speed with a 3:31 rear. Part numbers would be appreciated. I was thinking about Performer RPM. Not sure about the 64CC or the 70CC heads.
Thanks for the help

You really need to match the heads to your cam and compression. You might want to post up specs on the cam what else is being done and I think you will get better advice.

With a mild cam, the 170 E-Tecs are the way to go. You will also need to buy a vortec intake manifold.
These heads flow great at low lifts like the cam you're using.
If you read what edelbrock says, the E-Tec heads outflow the performer rpm's by 17%. That's a lot !

Be careful with the domed pistons. You should stick to 10-1 compression or less with a small cam.
