BBC swap and HEI?

Well tomorrow I take the car in for the swap..got everything I needed and had it sent to the shop that's doing the work...and just thought of something.. Can I still run HEI.. I do now with my SBC...wondering if anyone has run HEI on there BBC...

My brother ran HEI on his BB, no issues.

Big block and small block can run the same ignition and distributor. Only problem is what motor mounts you use and type of distributor. If it is a big cap type it might not fit. Have them put it in and check the firewall clearance between the cap.
