Live on a ranch w/plenty of equeptment and battery's along w/my classic toys. Had great luck w/cheap "Walmart everstart" battery charger's but are no longer offered.
Any idea's on really good replacements chargers that are reliable ? Waterproof is a big plus for outside dozer and such.
Shopped around but they have sure got'n pricey.

If you buy in bulk you can get Batter Tender Jrs down to around $20 a piece. I bought four for $88 shipped last year. Gave a couple to Dad for his 50+ year old IH and his lawn mower both of which stay outside although under a shelter. The tractor is right on the edge so it does get rained on some so he just keeps the Jr under the hood. He loves them.

Depending on your equipment you may just need one.
I own and use one tender only, shared across a Harley, Camaro , and lawn mower. I have permanent power jacks mounted on each, and just plug in whatever is needed, whenever. But due the the climate here, none of my stuff ever goes into hibernation. I cut grass year round.

6 on the way now, these are just what I was looking at on ebay. Thank's Steiner , you to Greg. Dozer and grader are off in another area not counting whats out in tha barn. "Hail storm got tha solar panels last week" !

One thing I forgot to mention....the Jr model is only 0.75A output so it can't really charge a battery that has gone completely dead like deep cycle. I've got a little 6A charger I use for an hour or two if I let one go that far. As long as you don't put them on one that is too far gone they'll keep them in ship shape. Also on your massive batteries like on a tractor or something you may see it stay in charge mode for a day or two before it switches to maintain mode. As long as the red light comes on though it can do it's job.

Also be sure and rig your quick connect pigtail on the battery so that it's positioned where if you forget to unplug it it'll yank out on its own. I managed to get Dad to wrap his extension cord around the steering wheel when he parks the tractor so he wouldn't do that.
