Hey guys,
Im not driving my car much and Im thinking about letting it go. It has a 357 that LOVES to whine and pulls hard the whole time. It also has a 97 Camaro T56 in it with a hydraulic clutch setup. The cool part is if it ever breaks down you can go to the local parts store and get all the parts you need to fix it. I figured out how to use a 69 Z28 clutch assembly with the hydraulic clitch and T56. The rear end is a 3:90 and a posi. All this car needs is a good paint job. It doesnt have any rattles or leaks and everything works. Its a car that could be a great daily driver if you wanted it to be. Let me know what you think. I would appreciate it.
Ive got pics on here somewhere.

No those pics are a couple months old. Its together and running now. It was acting funny so I put a Pertronix Flamethrower and distributor and coil in it. I think its been sitting to much. It may have some trash in the tank or something. It still PULLS HARD but I think it should be pulling harder. I think the rev limiter in the distributor may be messed up and NTB sent back for another one.
I dont have the time or the funds anymore. Since my divorce, I do eveything for my kids, or I try to anyway.

Come on guys, let me know what you think its worth Please...

That is a nice looking car. I am thinking somewhere around 15k but it really depends where you live in the country as to what the market will bear these days. If you are determined to sell, I would do a lot of researching of Craigslist, autotrader, ebay to determine a good price otherwise you are setting yourself up for a long wait or have it underpriced and it goes too fast. I would not use the classifieds here as a guide. We tend to be too proud of our stuff...

I gather the body is solid with zero rust issues? Since this is not matching number car or any other rare type of Camaro, I would price it based on condition of the cars metal/paint and what kind of options you have in it. The six speed I think adds value to the guy who doesn't care about originality. I see it has manual brakes, that may hurt the value if they are still drums. If its a hot rod Camaro with all the hot rod upgrades then folks will pay more in my mind. If it's missing something like disc brakes then folks might want to use that as a bargaining point. I don't know just my way of thinking about cars that are not bone stock but are drivers. I guess what I am saying, is don't price it high if it doesn't have the goods to justify the price since this is not one of those super rare 1 of 1 Z28's with a/c and cruise :)

I understand about personal issues getting involved with your hobby but it will be hard to get out of it what you probably have into it. If you are pinched for cash then sell. If it's just taking up space and you don't need the money, keep it and maybe get your kids interested in it. I know my kids like cool cars even though they are to young to fully appreciate them and their attention span is shorter than mine...because I have a Camaro POS hanging out in my shop they don't mind too much when I drag them to car shows. I just can't stay all day with them, about 3 hours max.
