You can still buy one new from GM - I did. Look at CRG for the part number. I ordered through GM Part's direct. Aftermarket is another option but they aren't as solid as the GM Part.

Nope, not for A/C. GMPD charges a handling fee also. It's best to establish a relationship with a parts counter person. You will have access to the parts locator system and parts aquisition becomes easier and cheaper. Even dealers I've dealt with cold have provided me with parts and locations.

SBC AC part number 3893814 per CRG. http://www.camaros.org/coolingsystems.shtml#shroud I just put the part number from GMPD in the search bar and shows it is still available. With shipping it will be about $140 ish, I paid 125 for it a year ago shipped so the price went up on them. Shipping and handling was $22 which wasn't bad considering the size of the box IMHO

OK. I went through their other search engine, which shows all the parts available in different categories and it did not come up. One time I went through the order procedure and what was listed as available was actually not. One of these parts was a BB dipstick tube. I then proceeded to procure the last 3 in the country through my parts guy. They were being stripped from dealers as fast as I could put my finger on the phone. That $22 is a good S&H price; they poked me on a VA can.

Wow, thanks for the quick help. I actually originally got a repro one and by the time I went to install I realized that the fit was so tight the flimsy plastic crap it's made of wouldn't work, and it was too late to return it. So then I ordered the gm one from the local car and truck shop for about 180 shipped and it came cracked. So I sent it back and then they said they were out of stock :X

Ughhhh, anyway thank you very much for the help...

Mine from GMPD took a while, over a month - I believe they recieved a couple that were cracked based on my discussion with the parts guy on email - the first one I recieved was cracked too, emailed them and they sent a call tag to pick it up, shipped another one a week later and it was good so it went in the car. I think they are an awkward shape and if not packed well get cracked in shipping. If you order one through GMPD based on my experience, you will get a good one but it may take some time.

All of these dealers have at least one in inventory
Try to buy it at $109.05 cost - it is old stock - they should discount to almost dealer cost.

Part #: 3893814 Desc: SHROUD Cost: $109.05 List: $184.83

Ok thanks for the help. I ordered one yesterday after talking with their customer service. Their site says it takes 7-10 days after payment before shipping, and sometimes more for special order which it is apparently. That seems a little excessive but It was the cheapest I've seen thus far. My local dealers both wanted retail $187, and they didn't even have them on hand anyway.
Thanks for everyone's help and the fast replies.
This has been quite an annoying task switching back to an original setup because the aluminum radiator only has the top mount. And I had to ditch the aluminum water pump pulley because the shroud wouldn't fit with the long water pump  and this is the 3rd shroud I've ordered lol.
