Originally the car was a lemans blue 6 cylinder, standard interior..

Since I purchased it.. I have done quarters, outer wheel wells ,floors and paint..

I have also replaced the small block with a 454 bored 60 over..interior is a 8 out of 10 needing a headliner(still blue) and rear side panels..

Car has disc in the front, rearend 9" 411 and spool, th400

Car runs fine and looks great...here are some pic

Sorry to hear you are selling your car.

Specs of the 454? TH400 rebuilt? What stall converter?

454 stock rebuild bored 60 over..tranny was brought used PO told me it was rebuilt less than a few thousand miles the shop that installed it confirmed same.. Converter is stock... Tranny shifts fine...

Reason I'm selling is need more surgery in my knee..so no work or play for almost a yr...

Hector - your interior looks more like a 6 out of 10 with the patched holes on the door panels, the armrest bases, the center console and lid the way they are and the vents and radio missing from the dash. Add to it the headliner and rear side panels needs replacing!

I'm not trying to pick on your car but some of the pictures you are linking to show details that are going to drop dollars from the sale price when a potential buyer sees your car. The first thing you need to do is clean up the car so it looks it's very best! It may not be a finished car but it doesn't have to look like it's on the road to becoming a barn find. Spend the time and energy to repair anything you can without too much cash outlay, it's money in the bank! Bottom line is the same car can look like a $15k project in the works that the owner lost interest in or it can look like a $20k almost done car that is the owners pride and joy.

My honest 1st reaction was the same as Bryon's until I looked at your interior pic's and I'm sure it's not true but what came to mind was "I'd probably have to go throught the engine if I had this car". I never would have thought that if the car was detailed out to the max! Even under the hood there are no cost things you can do to make the car pop when a seller see's it. Good luck with it,

Thanks JR... I need to get my leg fixed... You can't believe the pain in the butt it is not being able to bend at the knees..

DjD.. I see your point.. But all the interior needs is door panels and headliner.. It has new carpet, new a pillar moldings, new dash pad, dash painted, new weather stripping, and package tray.. I have the vents but they are pitted... As for detailing it...its almost impossible since my injury..

Just need some ideas of value.. Thinking about letting a buddy place it on his lot..

Thoughts?

Hector,
Sorry to here about your pending surgery, had a third surgery done on my right knee Dec 22 last year finally getting back to some activities.
Take my advice and follow doctors orders, I didn’t and prolonged the recovery time. BTW the last procedure I had was Arthroscopic w/ micro fracture procedure.
Previous two were to repair the ACL.
Wishing you all the best.

Thought about that Tom.. But the car is stored at my in laws in Peabody.. And it's a major pain just to get in and out of it now..I was hoping I wouldn't need the surgery..

Thanks Dean..I'm going in to correct what the first surgeon did in January..( I had a full rupture of my quad tendon and surgeon didn't bother aligning my knee cap when he reattached my tendon.) So now I'm going to have to move my tendon over so my Knee cap will sit in the correct position.. Then remove all the adhesions.. I had some great range of motion after I used a dyna splint.. But lost it within a week of stopping it's use..

Hector - Good luck with the knee, I've lived through my wifes knee problems for years so I have an idea what you are going through. We thought things would have ended with the full replacement but she also lost full range of motion because of past issues. She has another Dr that feels he can get her more than she has but that means more surgery!

Sounds like it's time to call in some friends to help you with the car. You don't need experienced mechanic's, just a couple guys that can take direction from you and can do some detailing. It really does make a big difference with buyers!

Dennis.. They say you never know who your friends are until you need them.. My buddies always called me for favors and I was always there.. But seems every time I ask for a little help I get the whole " I'm busy, kids are sick," and I have another buddy that borrowed some money and now won't return my calls..Go figure..

Hector, hopefully your buddies will "step up" and help you out. I know if you were close by I would be there to help. But you are about 1200 miles away.

I am going to price the car somewhere between $12K and $15K. Could be more but with just pics and description hard to tell. I would be able to narrow it down and maybe go higher if could inspect it personally.

Things that hurt the car the most in my opinion are it being an original 6 cylinder car and repaint with non original color. Lemans Blue is one of my favorite colors and usually sells really well.

If you have to sell, I would probably start around $17K and see what happens. Guys always seem to want to beat you down on price.
