Hi all!
does anyone know how to make a 4l60 shift later into OD?
actually my OD shift is at 30mph but should be higher. (the tcc cluth makes my car rumble at this low rpm!)

This has to be done in the PCM/Computer. The car has to be tuned for it. Mine doesn't go in to od until 55 mph and I like it there. GL.

The 93MY 4L60 can't be changed via reprogramming the computer like the 94-up 4L60E due to the use of a "chip". EEPROM's didn't debut until 94 MY.

Yeah usually the governor in the non-eletronic 4l60/700r4 is what makes this happen. Did this just recently start happening? Someone could have put the wrong governor in it. They look the same but I think the Camaro governor has a lighter spring.

There's also the throttle valve cable but if I'm not mistaken, this will only adjust the kick down.

Guess I should have noticed the 93 in his sig :)
Yeah, 93's are the odd one of the 4th gens being speed density tuning (only year for that!), last year to use a chip in the PCM and use of the 4L60 (basically a 700R4).
