I have a pair of NOS rear wheel opening mouldings for a 1968 Camaro RS. It's the "shorter" version, thus RS. I'd like to trade for "standard" longer mouldings but if I can't, I'll just sell them. What are these worth ? Are the RS worth more than the regular ones ?

68 RS has the shorter ww moldings. All 67 and standard 68 are full length.

I don't think they're any more valuable than standard moldings....maybe to the right person, I guess. It's pretty easy to cut standard moldings to fit RS.

I'm thinking 250-300 for the pair ??

edit; btw, it's not unusual to see 68 Z's , non RS, with the short rear ww moldings....Chick's (aka 68camaroz28) included. I asked him about it, he asked Jerry and was told it's not uncommon.....

Pretty certain I got that right, maybe Chick will drop by to verify...:thumbsup:

Well that explains the fact that my car's original quarter panels did have some holes for the wheel opening mouldings, but not all the way to the rocker panel, so maybe it came that way from the factory, with shorter RS mouldings !? I'd still like to get the longer mouldings, though. Frank.
