Has anyone had any luck with fender well moldings? The ones I tried were made by Corvex and in my opinion were a piece of crap. i even tried two sets (front only--rear seems fine) the front fenders have a deep undercut at the peak and these moldings just don't have the right contour. Any help would be great. I have not been able to find GM moldings.

Thanks, Dan

My body man had the same problem with my Corvex moldings. He ended up buying another set from D&R Classic and he even ended up putting a kink in one of those. I don't know what brand they sell but they didn't fit the greatest either. It is very frustrating trying to find things that fit correctly. I don't know how these places can keep selling stuff that's sub par. I guess we all need to voice our complaints. I suppose the catalog companies won't want to give a refund if the part is damaged trying to install it. They'll claim we aren't qualified when actually the parts aren't made correctly.

The Corvex junk is just that--junk. I was going to send them back but the S&H will make it not worth the effort. I will just save that money and try and find some GM's. Mine got kinked the first time (actually tore the aluminum tightening the fender bolt at the high point of the fender) and the second set on drivers side is actually 3/4 of a bolt hole off on 3-4 holes. The original moldings are actually 1/4 wider. I will keep looking. Good luck on your car
