Which way do my Rocker nuts go on ?

Which way do my Rocker nuts go on ? I didn't pay attention as I took them off. There are two different types of nuts used (driver's side different than the passenger side. I don't even think that nut # 1 in the below photo's is even the right one for the job as the rounded spacer (spherical) locates the rocker arm itself.

So, first photo Nut # 1 A or B ? and Nut # 2 A or B ?

second photo - Nut # 1 A or B ? and Nut # 2 A or B ?

If you have standard stamped steel rockers, nut 1B is correct... For a $20 bill you can replace them and be done with the mis-match...

First photo Nut # 1 A and second photo Nut # 1 B is what was on my old heads. The rounded part of the nut faced up.

The 'A" views are correct istalled position. The they are clinch nuts and the taper or smaller diameter is how they manufacture the torque retention clinch which should be on to as installed.
