69 SS Coupe Wipers

All,
Can someone answer if on a 1669 coupe the wiper arms should be polished or brushed?

I've seen both kinds on different cars and it seems both types are available from restoration places.

I'm looking for orginality if this matters.

They are natural stainless. neither brushed or polished. What I do to even out the original's finish is to glass bead them on low and with the gun pretty far away. That cleans the surface and give it a natural unpolished finish.

I've never seen a brushed wiper arm.
