I don't think digital magazines will take over because you can't carry them into the crapper to read while you're sitting on the "throne".

You download the Zinio Reader that is on their web site. I read the mags on my Iphone 4s and on my Ipad too!

I hope you guys use a disinfectant wipe on the phone after use...that e-coli stuff is nasty.
The above reminds me of the sad words from a dirtiest jobs episode where Mike was asking a woman a few questions about using public restrooms.
The woman sadly questioned, "there's poo in my purse?"
It turns out we use the toilet farthest from the entrance, and women put the purse on the floor...

you're not supposed to use the phone/tablet to wipe, which is one function that it can't do that a paper magazine can..
i suppose you're one of those people that use the disinfectant wipes on the grocery carts at the store?
do you also wash your hands after going thru the salad bar at a restaurant and using the same utensils as everyone else to scoop food onto your plate?

you say that as if advertisements are a good thing, and the sub cards falling out are a bad thing..Dennis...
Full issues, same as the mag...complete with all the advertisements ! One thing is different....no cards fall out between pages as you are reading the mag

Being Diabetic....yes. Not a germafobe but when I get sick it's way harder to get rid of.
As for the magazines. I have an ACER Android tablet with a 10 inch screen that works great for reading my magazines. The other cool thing is you can zoom in photos for close up pics and web links are direct out of the magazine for parts etc. I subscribe and get a tablet, you can also bring it along in the car, airport, plane etc and have many magazines at your finger tips.
There is a wipe app for that.

Never said the advertisements were bad or good and as far as the cards falling out....who the likes them ? ...I think most people don't..... I can't figure why a post to save members magazine subscription can turn into a foolish "Talking Points " issue. No sweat off my back if you do or don't save any money on magazines......ads and all!!!!!!

I have my subs through zino. If I buy from these guys how are they delivered to you? I like the Zino style and they all stay in easily accessible library. The $5.00 price from the site you posted is at a minimum of $8.00 savings on each and a great deal!!
Also just wonder if you know how safe ordering from this site is? Can never be too careful.

I have bought 3 mag subscriptions from them earlier this year and they use Zinio ! No problems with them at all. At $5.00 a year is about 1/2 price or better on most car related mags.

I just ordered a mag at 8 AM today to test it and it went through fine. There was a message in red saying " Please wait while Credit Card is processing" and then it went right through and my mag was ready to download !
