Me and a friend have an opportunity to buy a CNC milling machine
To produce billet aluminum parts for our cars and friends cars
I was wondering what part or parts is most sought after if we wanted to produce some for sale to recoup our investment?
Our investment would be very minimal so we could sell the part or parts for
A lot less than normal retail from any other suppliers
Is there a lot of demand out there for billet aluminum parts?

Id say machined billet aluminum is a pretty popular thing. There's a company close to us, www.eddiemotorsports.com that makes quite a bit of billet aluminum stuff. Lokar makes billet stuff too.

Seems like some of the 'cool' stuff now is machined billet aluminum that's been powder coated black.

did you also purchase a CAD program to design the different parts, and the measuring tools to make sure the stuff will fit?

the machine is the cheap part- the tooling is what will get ya. one mistake and a $100 end mill either burns up or snaps..
