They cut it out after they fry it.
My suggestion is to bite the bullet and rewire the whole car. You'll be way ahead in the long run.

Roger that. BTW, I'm happy to see another '67 RS being saved. I have a soft spot for them since I have 2. Can you tell us how the car came equipped based on the cowl tag?They cut it out after they fry it.

Is that a big block heater cover?
am new in this community, so i have yet not figured out how it works. I just got my 67 yesterday, its a standard camaro and looks the body is just like this rs, no major rust problems, except mine doesnt have a motor. am planning on blowing my baby up with a 454... ^_^

I'm replacing the wiring under the hood . I got a deal for a used but not cut up head light wiring loom for rs complete for $150 . And I have the ignition side on the way with HEI new off ebay .They cut it out after they fry it.
My suggestion is to bite the bullet and rewire the whole car. You'll be way ahead in the long run.

The pic you posted isn't there. If you've run out of room then create a photobucket account and paste the link here. This will work out better in the long run.
When I bought mine earlier this year I first found the CRG website to decode my trim tag then this one. Both have been invaluable resources. Try this link:

That worked. Trim tag looks a bit mangled, hard to see some of the numbers. Type in what those are if you can and post that link in the Tag Team section. Those guys are good at decoding.
