I have a chance to pick up a ford roush rear end and was wondering if I would have any problems or would it even work? i think is a 2001-2002
Again, I can not verify that.99 and newer Mustangs use a 59 7/8 inch wide rear axle.

99-04 Mustang 61-5/8" w/disc brakes and 5x4.5"
Work on what?I have the opportunity to come up on a 2001 ford mustang gt roush rear-end and was wondering if this could work?

nothing happened to the rear-end of the car. The engine compartment had caught on fire and was put out fairly quick.Having been in a fire, it probably needs to be completely gone through. But for $60 you can't go wrong.
What are your skill sets? You have to deal with welding, cutting, drilling etc. Chevy and Ford bolt patterns are different, axle lengths are different, spring type and perches are different. If you have the tools and have done the kind of modifications needed, have at it! If you are going to be paying someone to do the work, it will be less expensive to sell it and buy an 8.5 out of a 3rd gen Nova that will bolt right in...why sell when I can install it?
