69 Camaro Wheel Tub and Frame Rails Replacement?

All I am currently getting ready to replace the complete rear inner wheels houses and frame rails. I am going with the 2” complete housings and mini tub frame rails from Ecklers. The car is already painted ( done 25+ years ago). I want to limit getting into a bunch of paint and body as the car...

If you feel the fit is off, then is it just the frame rail, or just the floor, or a little of both ?.

I've seen some lips of stamped vehicle parts that the spot welding tongs look like they had a heck of a time pinching the lips together to get them together to then put in a spot weld.

Make a template and compare the bends of the two frame rails. Should be the same…

I used to have a build thread that documented the problems that you are experiencing. The thread is still there but the photos are gone. You have to click on the photo links to see the images. Post #33 has the floor pan installation. A few posts later, is the frame rails and trunk pan.

1969 firebird convertible without photos

I would not weld the frame rails to the trunk pan first. Align the frame rails, then make the trunk pan fit the car.
