Bought a support cover from Proform for a 12 bolt rear Im building. Really liked the bowtie loggo so went with one of those. Before purchase I thought it was funny it was painted cast grey. Guess it is to hide the bad casting. Neither summit or Proform says its defective. Proform admits its a bad casting.
So premium price for a junk cover other brands I used like TA, trickflow etc doesnt look like this.

I've sent a bunch of stuff back to Summit with no problems. The only thing I couldn't send back was a fuel pump, because I installed it (like 8 times). It doesn't look like you installed it. So why not send it back?

Edit to add - I was curious so I looked it up on Summit. Looks like you or someone else left a review about it.

I did the review. Sure I can send it back but since neither summit or Proform think its defective I have to pay return shipping and since im from Sweden its probably 150$ so not really sn option. Guess I will try to seal it up and hope it not leaks at the gasket surface or anywhere else.
Bought it for the bowtie has TA cover from Toms differentials on my other car and its a much better casting.

I saw the flag but didn't realize you were overseas (some people have a flag denoting their heritage vs actual current location). That does indeed suck, sorry you have to deal with that. Maybe a little RTV/gasket maker on the housing surface to fill the holes, then the actual gasket over that...
