I have been doing tons of research and narrowed it down to either 3m undercoating or some type of bedliner like Line-X or RaptorLiner. Car is going to be a driver so I want the best protection. Anyone have advice?

I'm thinking of using a thinned down Raptor liner, maybe thinned down enought to spray with a 2.2 tip in a regular gun, instead of the shutz gun. It will be a lot finer texture, so I'll probably do at least 2 coats. I've epoxied the wheel wells first.

Line x prob best. I like spray can bed liner. Durable, cheap, works very well.
Undercoating seems to turn to goo if any oil gets on it
The 3m undercoating 08883 is not like a factory undercoat or any other of the thick nasty ones. Sprays on from rattle can and is somewhat thin. How many coats should typically go on top of the epoxy primer?

For drivers I use SEM urethane bedliner. Not a factory finish but it’s tough. Shiny finish so a little easier to keep clean. Applied with a schutz gun.

I have used Raptor a few time and works well. Have also just shot black semi epoxy with no issues. One of my cars, which had no undercoating on the floor pans from CA, I just cleaned with lacquer thinner and shot chassis black and looks as it did when shot in 2010. Depends what you are starting out with. Does not take too much to protect it.

I used this....3M Body Schutz Rubberized Coating Black, 08864, 1 Quart, sprays really well and covers a large area too.
