I have a 67 350 with TH350 trans. I have a lot of play in my steering. I have tubular A arms, all the bushings are good. I was wondering if anyone has experience with the Borgenson steering box? Is the steering different from the stock box? Would I have to modify the steering column? Also, can I use the rag joint? I was trying to decide on replacing the box with a stock steering box or go with a Borgenson box. The price of a stock and a Borgenson is not that much. Thanks.

That’s a nice trick using the upper A frame bolt as an anchor point to stabilize this lines
haha, yeah I figured I needed something there, the little twist in it, keeps it off the header

I had more clearance than stock, but this is an LS not a SBC/BBC , so that might be a factor.
Keep in mind some problems can and have been engine stands that are not correct for the engine application.

Yep… lots of residual leftover on the net, but they no longer exist.
My 67 had factory power steering, when I swapped in the Borgeson it fit fine. It may be a touch larger, by like an 1/8" or something. Raised port heads had a much bigger impact on header fitment than the steering box.
