I’m getting close to pulling my ZZ/4 350 and Muncie 4 spd out of my ‘69 so I can get the car ready for a 427 crate engine. The 350 has the GM aluminum heads, serpentine system and was originally rated at 355 H.P. I added a Lunati cam, and ceramic coated headers. I’ve gone through several speedometers so I can’t say exactly how many miles are on the engine but estimate maybe 5,000 tops. The Muncie was originally in a Firebird. Opinions please!

28U176575 is the partial VIN of the original car.
2 would be Pontiac
8 would be 1968
U is the assembly plant where the car was built. Someone should know what plant that code is for and know what models they made there
176575 is the last 6 digits of the original car it came out of.
