Some guys have all the luck! Congrats Jay on your new project

great find , thanks for posting

I wonder if the white paint trim tag was used as some type of temporary inspection check off mark like the way inspectors used paint marks on some parts

I hope they can find the original Muncie shifter.

That Hurst shifter has the small letters,if it was a 1960s Hurst , it would have the big Hurst letters

I think we are going to take it to the camaro show in fredrick next month. Maybe put some good rubber on it and a little cleaning

That would be cool. Make it safe to drive but don't change anything except what is absolutely necessary for safety and be sure to keep all parts. Just some minor cleaning will do wonders.

Nice find! Like everyone else said...keep the pics coming. Thanks for posting!

Wow, That is an outstanding find. Good Luck with your new 68 and please keep us updated with photos showing your progress.

What's build date ? Must be semi-early with the black ash tray. Are the gauges original ?
All this time I though my black ash tray was just mismatched but maybe it's original. Did early 68's with the walnut trim come with black ash trays?

Awesome car! I'd throw some tires on it, clean it up and keep it as is.
