Here's the story - I have been tracking down leads on a 1969 Yenko Camaro that has been stored away for nearly 30 years. I finally found out the name and location of the supposed car and I'm going to go today to approach the guy about the car.

The only things I know (or at least heard) - The car is stored in a barn, I'm guessing interior is poor - thinking mice. Engine and trans was supposedly pulled and put in someone elses car years ago. I'm guessing the body is average but has been stored on a dirt floor barn so underneath is probably poor to average.

Based on these guesses - what would the value of this car be? Assuming it's on the Yenko Vin list, documented..... Any other specifics I should look for to properly ID the car?

I don't want to sell the car -so I'm only looking for an idea of what the value is.

Well a 69 Yenko, green all orig sheetmetal 4 speed nice driver without #'s matching engine just sold for 125,300.00..So assume alot less than that unless there is something really special about it.

Look on the face of the passenger side rear axle tube for a BE coded rear end. Take pics of it , the vin, the trim tag, heater box,the car.

And? My guess is it's not so much what you think it's worth but how much the owner thinks it's worth (if it's for sale).
