My Convertible is missing the weather strip which I have found and a stainless steel "U" shaped piece of metal with 3 holes drilled in it. The metal piece runs up the inside of the "A" pillar where the weather strip goes and is about 1 inch wide with 2 sides on it about 3/8 or 1/2 inch tall from what I can tell. I have no Idea what to call it so locating one has been impossible. does anyone know what its called and where to find one? I was Going to take a pic but forgot my camera and the car is at the paint shop. any help is greatly appreciated

Thanks guys I just found what I think is the right set at Camaro central part #wea-170. I hope they fit. its only took me 2 days and six cups of coffee to find them. thanks again for all the help. I can honestly say none of my Camaros would work right if this site didn't exist.

I was just looking at these. Pretty salty at $250 but they are "used GM only" parts. Let me know how they work.

You will appreciate that they are GM and will actually fit. They are stainless and can be flash chromed if you want to be technically correct. I polished mine on my coupe and they look good to me.

just got the parts in. the finish will polish out but they aren't what they were advertised as. one is bent from prying and both have been cut down and had a new hole drilled in them. they were hardtop channels somebody cut. I could have done this to a new pair myself for the same price. ::::kicking myself:::: I just feel like they knew darn well these were cut down hardtop channels before they sent them.
