I just got back from another long hauler Powertour cruise. I kept noticing sweat drips on my rubber mats . The drips are coming off the Vintage AC case, not the expansion valve or hoses.
I went from 8-10% humidity to probably more than 50% while going east from Texas into Ark then up into the Carolinas.
I know the issues that could cause this such as possible leaking outside air from the vents, etc.

I was thinking about insulating the lower case to prevent this sweat with the old tried and true black insulation tape we have used for years on expansion valves.
Only bad thing using this is , if you happen to put your foot up too far under the dash, you may get a little of this .

My question is, Does anyone know of something better? Thanks.

On my 68 with Vintage Air I have had condensation on the ball vents that will drip a little on the rubber floor mat but not that much. The case has a hose that should drain to the outside. It may be possible your hose is blocked, kinked or not draining for some reason.

Not the drain hose, this drains well. Its probably the ambient air .

Thats all it is Don. Ambient air hitting that cold evap case. I dont have vintage but I would try to wrap the case with a thin insulation. I dont know of any other fixes than that...a barrier between the case and air.

Call Vintage and ask what they recommend.
