Hi,

Next week I'll be preparing my suspension parts. I'm going to media blast, epoxy prime and paint.

I've read about welding up the seams on the front subframe. I suppose it can't hurt and it shouldn't take very long.

Anybody do this and see a noticeable difference in handling? I don't plan on running any more than 500 hp with 255 street tires in the rear. Is it even worth my time with that kind of car?

Thanks,
Sal

Some people do and some people don't. Not welding helps the frame crumple if God forbid you hit something, resulting in less force going to you.
