Ok guys, heres one for you. My boss at work sold camaros in 1969. He swears that in late 1969 camaro production, he saw the the cars ordered with 454 engines. Ever head of this??? He swears he is not BS'ing me.

I've heard that Reedman Chevrolet was swapping 454's into some late 69 cars. I think there is a guy in the Northwest Jersey Camaro Club that is the original owner of a 69 he bought from Reedman with a 454 in it. But I doubt any cars were actually ordered with it or built.

From my old days as a Chevy dealership mechanic, I never saw a 69 with a 454 from the factory. When the new car dept. unloaded the truck, I was there each time and drooled over the 69 z's and Bb cars. Even got to play with a COPO or two, but never saw a 454.

Jeff H,Speaking of Reedmans swapping motors,I know someone in Bethlehem Pa that swears that his best friend back in 69 bought a 1969 Lemans Blue, black interior Nova SS 427 Nova from Reedmans!! The original owner has past away(died in his late fortys),but his father is still alive.I called his father and he comfirmed it,father said car was way to fast.Anyway were trying to hunt this car down thru his wife, stills lives locally.Did you know Joel Rosen did Dealership Transfers from Reedman!!
