X77 Trim Tag on Ebay

I thought it looked like a repro, as it is just a little too perfect. I know the guys that advertise these in Hemmings claim they are "absolute show quality". How can you spot the difference? Are there some visual clues that give it away?

The X77 one looks real although it's a little off to(I think the image may be compressed in one direction some), the X22 is fake.

Heres the X77 data for future searches

Yes there are visual clues (obviously) but if it gets discussed here then the repro'ers will fix them and we won't be able to tell the difference.

So the X77 one is real? Never really looked into finding the differences in real and fake tags, but I just printed both out to compare. I can see some differences.

Especially since theyre both the same plant and week, theyre very different in several aspects.

As I said it "looks real" but is off a little bit from other 02D tags I have images of. The picture may be compressed in either the horizontal or vertical direction making it look a little odd to me. The picture is also kind of small to do any serious comparisions to.

I said it looks real (not is real) because it is from the same seller as the definately fake X22 tag which to me makes it a bit suspect but I can't see any obvious traits of a repro tag.
