Now that my project is back on track, I figured I'd start a new build thread here. I acquire the car several years ago from CA. It is my 7th classic car and finally one that is totally solid and will have all original panels. There is literally no rot on the entire car. The car was disassembled almost 20 years ago and kept in a garage.
So far, this is what I have done:
- Media blasted and epoxy-primed. Original seam sealer was left alone as there are no rot issues.
- Suspension installed (all Hotchkis front to back)
- Driveline installed (minus drive shaft)
- Brakes installed
The car will be hugger orange with white stripes and have a '70 interior (I wanted the seats with the headrests).
Next is wiring and sound deadner.
