I got two old OER (early to mid 90's) replacement quarter panels the marker lights holes are stamped different than the quarters that are on my camaro. They appear to be stamped upside down as compared to the quarters that are on my camaro. My question is which style correct? I really want to know is my quarters have been replaces before.

Brent - They look right as compared to my vert quarters. What is the measurement from the crease to the horizontal and from the edge to the rear vertical, the width of the cut and hte height of the opening?

I'm no 69 expert, but pretty sure the marker light holes are rectangular....top and bottom sides of the hole are equal length. The panel contour and the angle at which the photo was taken are what's causing the trapezoid illusion in the pic above....

69 holes were trapezoidal. Perspective principles would not cause the shape you describe.

The bezel is a rectangle but the hole is a trapezoid. I have looked at a number of quarters and looked at a lot for threads and I have seen it both ways. One thread I noticed the marker holes was just like my car pre restoration and they must have replaced the quarters. after the car was painted the holes was the other way as they was assembling the car. Very noticeable in that thread. I just want to make the best most correct repairs to my camaro.

Thanks again

Garfield Macro, the light installs from inside the trunk the bezel installs from the outside and speed nuts pulls it together the light is some what larger overall than the hole. I would say almost double the width.
