My 69 camaro with stock 327 runs great, idles fine and has lots of power. The only problem i have is when parking, especially parallel parking. When trying to slowly back into a spot the motor almost always dies. Any ideas how to sort this out?

Is this an auto trans? What is the idle rpm?

Set your idle speed up a little
And/or increase initial timing.
RPM should only drop 200 RPM in gear compared to neutral RPM.
