Well folks, it's time to go. My health is leaving so I've sold my 40 year collection of parts at a swap meet a couple of weeks ago and sold the Camaro yesterday to save my wife from having to sell things she knows nothing about in the future. It's been nice conversing with y'all, I 'll still be around for a while but I'm moving on to buying drivers of different breeds to play with because I'm too used up for projects these days. Thanks for the good times!

Ron, sorry to hear your health issues, but glad to hear you plan to stick around and have some fun beating on other cars! Take care and best wishes for whatever life throws your way :beers:

A very saddening post, Ron, I am sorry to say. My prayers and thoughts to you and family for a better journey.
Please don't leave entirely as you will need us for therapy, it does help, I know.

Growing old sucks...Everett

Sorry to hear. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family.

Savor all the good times yet to come Ron, every day means something to everyone. Drive em like you stole em

Ron, sorry to hear about your health. I've enjoyed your posts here. It must have been hard selling your collection; however, it highlights the love you have for your family. May god bless you and give you many more roads to enjoy. Fred

Ron - Stunned by your news. Sad day for us, but as stated don't go too far away from your many friends here. Prayers and warm wishes for you and your family.

Brian

You don't need to have a car to share knowledge and love for these cars here on this board.

But that's really not important.

I'm healthy, but getting up there in years (old enough that I'm also working on disposing of parts).

Enjoy what time you have - keep your family close, love them and let them you know that you do. Be open to receiving their love for you. That's what's really important.

Its a pain in the butt as we get older , slower and start to wind down some of our projects...
But thats life, and at least we now get an extra 20 yrs or so more than only a few generations.
Yep the wife and I are now talking about down sizing our home section....couple vintage cars unoffically up for sale....
The problem is we look at other guys who have 'retired' down sized, lost their shed, much of their tools, hobbies, and they are bored, and seem far older than they should be, physically and in the head.
I would be lost without my shed to potter around in...and the bench saws, drill presses, lathes...
Its a hard call getting older

Take care Ron. As others have said, spend as much quality time as possible with family and friends. Go fishin' with the grandkids. :)

Mark
