I had a chance 6 months ago to buy basically the same car Hugger Orange white HT. Coupe nothing special, had NOS GM quarters already hung and needed to finish body work and paint, then put everything back together. I was quoted 12k and should have bought it on the spot, the guy decided to keep it when I inquired again 2 weeks later.

im pretty sure i can manage putting one together ...just looking for what thoughts on fair value is with the info i posted.

heres a pic of it ... all the parts are just set in place ... NOT installed or welded on so it would have to be pulled apart to build...
START to FINISH.
comes with all the other parts listed tho.

Nowadays, 10-12k...GOOD raw material/starter cars are few and far between! Most are slapped together with a quick shine on them and you have to pay
20k and re-do them any ways :yes::yes:

Tom,

You might want to rethink that one considering everyone has to start at the same place of never having done a restoration before!
The problem is the car is disassembled... if you haven't restored on before it is best to buy a complete car so you know you have all the parts, I have restored many camaros and can walk up on a bunch of parts and pretty much know if all the big parts are there, however it's the little clips etc that will take time and effort to locate and install. It is so much easier if you take tons of photos when taking it apart and bag everything etc especially for a first timer.

Thats just MHO

It's easily worth 10K+ In my opinion. I don't care for goodmark panels but the fact that everything is already purchased and ready to go is nice. The shipping cost on sheet metal.

thanks for the input ...YES , i can build it ...thats not the problem.
No , good mark parts arent GM , or even AMD but , THATS WHATS THERE.

i was just curious to see what you guys thought it was worth as a project ( comparing your thoughts since we know these cars , to my thoughts. )

if it comes down to it , I will do the metal work , installing the rear 1/4s , trunk pan , inner n outter wheel housings , trunk drops , so on so someone without that ability can then start from there.

Heres the deal ... i have the car ..I DONT NEED it , - i have 4 - 69s here and this isnt my priority build...
that would be the Butternut Yellow 69 with Yellow houndstooth ..( not my fav combo for sure but thats what it is factory and all the research and help from guys in the know here , A VERY RARE COMBO.
i have a ALL ORIGINAL Complete 52K mile , running 69 427 , the correct 427 T400 ( CQ code not the Copo CX ) and the 69 BV coded 4;10 posi , XT wheels and original Polyglass F-70 14s...and all the parts to build that one ...

Looking to be fair for someone and find it a good home so i gues i will post it in the Classified section...
Dont want to be crazy like some and think its worth a fortune , but , dont want to give it away.

i bought it and another 69 thats tubbed trying to help a guy out , and it bit me in the *** and he backed out ...( AFTER I DID THE HAULING AND SPENDING MY CASH )
actually , i would have bought them reguardless so no hard feelings but i really didnt need them ..lol

oh , and im sure i have ALL the little pieces and parts down to every clip if the money were right ..haha...

Thanks for the opinions and thoughts...JC
