OK I have searched and found nothing on the issue I have. My RS bucket on the Passanger side is pulled to far in on the outer side of the cover. Basically the cover is quite a ways in on the outer side of it, theres no way it will be parallel with the the grille center
I have new Classic Headquarters motors installed and I am just rough fitting everything right now, the wiring is not complete yet. But are these motors sent in a "Parked" position which is over closed so to speak?

To line up the headlight assemble just us shims like you line up other body parts. This picture is of my car before my restoration. Notice the shim on the top mounting bolt. It was put there by the factory.

As for you other question wouldn't Classic Headquarters have that answer?

I will ask Classic but to my knowledge they are closed on Sundays, and the issue is with the outer side of the door, not the inboard (Closet to grille Center) I seen in the AIM that that side can be shimmed (Core Support mounts) but if I shim the outside it will actually not allow the grille trim piece to mount to its proper location.
Thanks for the reply though.

Maybr I have been looking at to many Pro-Mods and not looking at this right. It may not be flat horizontally even though in pics its hardto see the angle. have to get the center section in and see how it goes
Dont suppose anyone has pics of their install from above the headerto show the angle of the bucket???

Not a stupid question at all. The car is an rs but had replacement fenders put on sometime in the eighties I am guessing from the look of the gm stickers on the inside and it looks like they were std fenders and someone put in the rs mounts from the originals. But they looked fine when I purchased the car. I did put in a repop core support but that shouldn't affect the outer portion.
I looked at the trim pieces again and it looks like the cover was rubbing it so maybe it was not as far out as I thought.
Looking down on the fender should the door follow the same angle as the the front of the fender? Maybe I am just looking at it wrong as they always look flat straight across in the pics, and thus has not been together in 14 years Lol
