h.o. heads are crap.
flat tops are what you want
rpm is imho too big, regular performer
my '86 Z28, 305, 700-R4, 3.23s combo:
world "305 torquer" heads, CC 268 high-energy, 1.6 rockers, performer, stock Q-jet (worked a little), accel coil/wires/plugs, edelbrock headers, off-road pipe, dynomax cat-back, H.O. air cleaner (twin snorkle), off the shelf ADS stage2 chip, fairbanks t.c. (~2200-2400 stall) and servo (more area than the vette servo)
little bugger would rip the butt end loose on the 2-3 shift . . . 350tpi and mild 5.0s feared this little monster
hope this helps
