Simple question...

What are the heat range part numbers for Autolite plugs?

I have a set of AFR 210 cylinder heads and AFR recommends starting with AR3910 Autolite plugs.

I have fouled a few plugs while I try to sort the tuning...is the 3910 a cold plug or?

My local Autozone/Oreilly/Advance aren't any help especially these plugs are already special ordered.

In other words, how does Autolite number their ranges? 3920, 3930, etc?

Thanks!

Have you tried www.autolite.com? Looks like there is lots of info there. If you are brand loyal, most of the major spark plug manufacturers have good technical info on their plugs. You could start by crossing your autolite number to whomever's product you choose. Unfortunately, each manufacturer has their own method of heat-ranging plugs, but their tech documents usually explain the details.

Heh, thanks for the link...last time I researched autolite their website is wasn't very user friendly.

This one I can deduce that they also offer a AR 3911 which is indeed a hotter plug.

Can you tell me (using your catalog) if they have a whole range of plugs such as AR 3911-AR 3919-just different heat ranges?

Thanks a bunch...my Autozone friend said "that plug is not available (speaking of AR 3910) because it isn't in my computer...."
