Hey guys new to the Camaro forum...I just bought a 1969 Z28...Wanted to find out if the came with a spare tire cover..I know they sell a reproduction one...also I noticed some 69 cars that show a Caution keep fingers clear orange and black decal on the fan shroud....was not sure if that is correct...I noticed them on Ford products...Thanks for all your help.....Ralph

Welcome aboard...

Not originally...both items you mention are must haves the repoppers came up with. I must admit, I fell for the fan caution sticker long before I came here.:secret: It got removed soon afterwards.;)

How do you like your Z ? What colors and options does it have ?

We'd love to see photos of your car

The spare tire cover and the sticker were not original to the first gen Camaros and neither was a left hand outside mirror. . . .a dealer installed option along with a Kleenex dispenser and other cool stuff.
I think this poster meant to say that the RIGHT HAND outside mirror was not a factory item. The Left Hand side mirror WAS/IS a factory item.. :)

There was one at Mecum's last week that fits that description.

X2 on some pics of your car... what a great color combo, I like Blue w/ blue guts. The white hat is different too.
I recently received some pics of a Black exterior Red gut white Hat. 327 4 spd.
IMHO The white roof looks out of place with the red interior, however with Blue ext and blue interior the white serves to break it up and imparts the car with more of a conv type appearance.
